Antonio Camurri
Antonio Camurri, PhD in Computer Engineering, is a full professor at DIBRIS, University of Genoa.
His research interests combine scientific research in ICT with artistic and humanistic research, encompassing nonverbal multimodal interactive systems, computational models of nonverbal full-body expressive gestures, emotions, and social signals, as well as interactive multimodal systems for the performing arts, active experiences of cultural content, wellness, therapy, and rehabilitation. He is the scientific director of the Casa Paganini-InfoMus Research Centre. He teaches human-computer interaction in the Computer Engineering and Digital Humanities Master’s Curricula, a course on motion capture systems in the Computer Engineering Bachelor’s curriculum, and a laboratory on technologies for cultural wellness in the Digital Humanities Master’s Curriculum.
